The tears that protect our eyes cannot reach the cornea in time, causing irritation and fatigue. Additionally, inadequate lighting and the dry air in heated or air-conditioned rooms can contribute to these problems.

Symptoms of eye fatigue include dryness, itching, redness, and often a sensation of a foreign body. Adjusting the screen contrast is also crucial. If the contrast is appropriate, it can reduce the strain on our eyes. In the car, it is advisable to set the heating to a lower level in winter and adjust the air conditioning properly in summer to prevent the air from becoming too dry. We should also pay attention to our blinking frequency, as we often forget this natural reflex while using the computer.

Humidifying the atmosphere can also help maintain the hydration of our eyes. If necessary, use special eye drops or artificial tears that can help alleviate dryness.
