Knee Prosthesis Implantation: Perspectives of Development
The problems of the knee joint complicate the lives of many people, especially in the older age group, where wear and joint inflammation are common. Pain and limited mobility often make knee prosthesis implantation unavoidable. The purpose of the implants is to provide patients with pain-free and natural movement. Traditional solutions, consisting of mass-produced prostheses, are effective to some extent but are not always capable of accurately restoring individual anatomical characteristics.
