    The Parkinson’s disease is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by the gradual degeneration of brain structures responsible for controlling movement. Medicine has recognized this condition for nearly two centuries, and research has significantly advanced since then, providing us with a better understanding of the mechanisms underlying the disease.
